Storyteller,
Alton Chung, combines
a rich
cultural heritage,
drawing inspiration
from his Japanese and Korean roots, as well as
being
influenced by the superstitions, stories, and magic
of the Ha waiian
Islands, where he grew up. He enjoys weaving ethnic
tales, true
stories, and legends from many
lands, but his true passion is telling ghost stories.When telling stories, he is in constant motion. His hands and body never stay still as he effortlessly moves from story to story, embodying each character with their own voice, unique body movements, animated facial expressions, and flowing gestures. He breathes life into any tale he tells making them come alive and dance.Alton is an Eth-Noh-Tec apprentice and a member of the Eth-Noh-Tec Ensemble. |
